PEARL RIVER— Momentive Performance Materials Inc. (Momentive), a premier global high-performance silicones and specialties company, today announced its plans to open a Global Innovation Center (GIC), relocating its current Tarrytown, New York location. This new GIC will feature a modern R&D laboratory and office space designed to foster stronger collaboration and exchange of ideas, as well as the development of trend-focused, innovative solutions to support the growing Performance Additives business.

John Nicholson, Global Technology Leader, Performance Additives, added that he also sees Momentive’s new GIC as a vibrant hub of scientific discovery and materials innovation, contributing to enhanced product performance across a broad range of industry applications for the Agricultural, Paint & Coatings, and Beauty and Personal Care markets, which, he said, “will help meet the demand for high-performing, practical solutions for a sustainable world.”
